The picklist helps you work through an order item by item so nothing gets missed. You can tap items manually to mark them as picked, or use a barcode scanner for faster throughput.

Opening the Picklist

From the fulfillment dashboard, find the order you want to pick. In the order card’s action row, tap the Checklist (☰) icon. This opens the picklist screen for that specific order.

The Picklist Screen

The picklist screen shows:
  • Order number and customer name in the header
  • A progress indicator showing how many items have been picked vs. total items (e.g. 3/7)
  • Fulfillment date and type — whether this is a delivery, pickup, or shipping order, and when it is due
  • Items grouped by category — items are sorted into their product categories to make picking easier

Picking an Item

To mark an item as picked: Tap the item card. It will show a green checkmark and the item name will be struck through. To un-pick an item: Tap the card again. The checkmark clears and the item returns to the unpicked state. Picked items sort to the bottom of their category group automatically so your remaining items stay at the top.

Using a Barcode Scanner

You can scan product barcodes or SKUs to pick items hands-free.

On a Mobile Device (Camera)

  1. Tap the SCAN button in the search bar at the top of the picklist.
  2. Your camera opens with a scanning overlay.
  3. Point the camera at a product barcode. The item is matched and marked as picked automatically.
  4. After each successful scan, a green “ITEM SCANNED” message appears for 2 seconds, then the scanner resets.
  5. If no match is found, a red “ITEM NOT FOUND” message appears.
  6. Tap ✕ to close the scanner.
Flashlight: Tap the flash icon at the bottom of the scanner to toggle your torch on or off when scanning in low light.

On a Desktop or Web (Handheld Scanner)

If you have a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner connected to your computer:
  1. The search bar at the top of the picklist stays focused automatically.
  2. Scan a product barcode with your handheld scanner.
  3. The scanned value is submitted and the item is matched and picked.
Matching works on product name (partial match) and SKU (exact match). Make sure your products have SKUs set if you want reliable scanning. SKUs appear under each item name on the picklist card.

If you prefer to search without scanning:
  1. Type a product name or SKU into the search bar.
  2. Press Enter (or the return key on mobile).
  3. The matching item is found and marked as picked.

Item Details on Each Card

Each item card shows:

When You Are Done

Once all items are picked, the progress indicator shows full (e.g. 7/7). Return to the fulfillment dashboard and advance the order to Packaged to indicate it is ready to go.
Use the picklist before packing, not after. Picking first means you catch any stock shortages before the order is sealed and ready for the customer.

Printing a Shipping Label

If the order is being shipped, you can print a label directly from the fulfillment dashboard after picking. See Buying Shipping Labels for the full process.
