Before any payouts can be processed, a vendor must connect a Stripe Express account. Vendors without one will see a warning banner across their Inventory and Payments screens.

How it works

Local Pass uses a wallet-based settlement model. Revenue accumulates in a vendor’s merchant wallet as orders are completed. Funds are then transferred to the vendor’s connected Stripe Express account automatically every night — that’s the only way money moves.
There’s no manual cash-out, anywhere. Not in the mobile app, not on the web dashboard. Every vendor is paid out on the same nightly schedule, with no way to trigger a transfer early. The mobile app’s “Cash Out” and “Access Wallet” buttons just open the web Wallet page in your browser — that page shows your balance and history, but has no cash-out button either.

Prerequisites checklist

1

Connect Stripe Express

Complete onboarding at Dashboard → Payments → Stripe Setup. See Stripe Onboarding.
2

Stripe verification approved

Stripe reviews the submitted identity and banking details. This can take a few minutes to a few business days.
3

Publish at least one product

Products cannot be published without a connected Stripe account. The wallet will not accumulate a balance until orders are placed.
4

Receive your first payout

Once orders complete, your wallet balance builds. That night at 3 AM PT, the automated run processes the transfer to your Stripe account — there’s no way to speed this up manually.
