# Driver wallet

Your **Driver Wallet** is your on-app balance used for platform service fees. It's separate from your delivery earnings. This page explains what you'll see in the wallet and how to manage it.

## Opening Your Wallet

Navigate to **Driver Profile → Wallet** to open your wallet panel.

## Your Wallet Balance

At the top of the wallet screen, a card displays:

* Your current wallet **balance**
* Your **name** and city

This balance is used to cover platform service fees charged by Local Pass when applicable.

## Adding Funds

Tap **Add Funds** to top up your wallet. A set of amount chips appears:

| Option       | Amount                        |
| :----------- | :---------------------------- |
| Quick select | **\$25**, **\$50**, **\$100** |
| Custom       | Enter any amount you choose   |

After selecting an amount, tap **Pay** to complete the top-up through Stripe. A payment sheet will open. Once payment is confirmed, your balance is updated immediately and you'll receive a confirmation email.

<Note>
  The minimum top-up is whatever amount you select — there's no system minimum enforced, but keep your balance healthy to avoid your shift being locked.

### Locked Shifts

If your wallet has an outstanding balance when you try to start a shift, a warning appears:

> *"Your shift is locked. Please settle your outstanding balance."*

You must resolve the outstanding balance before you can go online.

## Outstanding Balance

If platform fees have exceeded your wallet balance, an **Outstanding Balance** section appears showing:

* **Total Earnings** for the recent period
* **Service Fees** owed

You have two ways to pay it off:

### Option 1 — Pay by Card

Tap **Pay Balance** to pay the outstanding amount using a credit or debit card through Stripe. Once processed, your balance and fee records are cleared automatically.

### Option 2 — Use Wallet Credit

If your wallet balance is high enough to cover the outstanding amount, tap **Use Wallet** to deduct it directly.

If your wallet balance is insufficient, the **Use Wallet** button is greyed out with a "*not enough balance*" notice. Add funds first, then use the wallet to settle the balance.
