# Settings

> Update your store name, description, contact info, sales model, and business attributes

# Store Settings (General)

**Where to find it:** Settings → Store Settings

This is your main store profile page. Here you can update the core information customers see when they browse your store on Local Pass.

## What you can edit

| Field                 | Description                                                            |
| --------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Store Name**        | The public name of your business                                       |
| **Tagline**           | A short one-liner (max 140 characters) that captures what you're about |
| **About Business**    | A longer description of your story, products, and values               |
| **Business Category** | The type of business you run (e.g., Restaurant, Bakery, Farm)          |
| **Cuisine Type**      | Only shown for restaurants — select your cuisine style                 |
| **Email**             | Your public contact email                                              |
| **Website**           | Your business website URL                                              |
| **Phone**             | Your contact phone number                                              |

## Sales Model

Tell customers how they can buy from you.

**Restaurants:** Toggle **Dine-in** or **Takeout** on or off.

**All other businesses:** Toggle **Wholesale** or **Retail** on or off.

  **When you first set up your store**, you're asked to choose one (or explicitly select "Both") and the two options are mutually exclusive at that step. **Once your store is live**, the two toggles here work independently — you can turn either, both, or neither on at any time from Settings. Make sure at least one is switched on, or customers won't know how they can buy from you.

## Business Attributes

These optional flags help customers find businesses that match their values:

* **Indigenous-owned** — Check this if your business is Indigenous-owned
* **Women-owned** — Check this if your business is women-owned
* **Ethnic Store** — Check this if your business represents a cultural heritage

## Saving your changes

When you're done making changes, tap the **Save** button in the top-right corner. A confirmation dialog will appear when your changes are saved successfully.
